History (from the beginning to now; assume we don't know anything about your character, other than what you've already provided above):
Not much is known of Tara's past; then again, that always seemed to suit her. As long as nobody knows, no one can react badly. As long as things are kept secret, she can control it. As long as…Tara was lonely until she met a slightly geeky, in a very cute way, fellow Wicca; Tara didn't exist until that moment she heard Willow's views in that fated Wicca meeting. They both thought that there should be some type of spell work going on, not just another brownie bake sale.
It's not that she thinks Willow is her reason for living, but the witch certainly helps. No, Willow gives her a reason to be more than just another warm body on the planet Earth; the reason goes beyond any magic, any spell, even beyond the love the two are beginning to share. Willow grants her the right to be someone.
Unfortunately, Willow and the rest of the Scoobies do not know the truth about Tara, a truth that even Tara doesn't realize was just some lie created by a frightened father. Tara believes that she is part demon and, as such, that she must constantly keep vigil over herself and those around her. What if she were to lose all control? What if she were to hurt a stranger, or worse, someone she loves? Her father warned her, and he still hasn't realized that she is off on her own, so to speak, in Sunnydale. Tara has yet to tell Willow of her family history; the blonde witch hasn't even told Willow that her own mother is dead.
Everyday is a challenge, and everyday will continue to be a challenge – only now it was a little easier. Now she had someone who could hold her hand, and one day, she might even be able to stand without that hand. One day, she might be able to see herself as someone worth existing just because she is special all on her own.
Talents: Witchcraft, the ability to read auras, a strange calm that hints of acceptance beyond common understanding, the ability to say no, strengthening Willow's confidence and powers
Strengths: Witchcraft, brains, ability to laugh at Willow's jokes
Weaknesses: Willow's pain, her own hidden past, insecurity in who she is
Long-Term Goals: Become a strong witch, live happily ever after, coming out of her shell
Short Term Goals: Find a better name for Miss Kitty Fantastico, making straight A's
Other things you feel are relevant: Tara has not meshed completely with the Scoobies, but she wants to try for Willow's sake. She would do almost anything for Willow, yet she understands there are times when magic won't fix everything. She's been at the witchy way much longer than Willow, so she understands a little more than she lets on.
What your character thinks of those they've met: The Scoobies are really the only characters Tara has met. She thinks of them as her friends, though she doesn't think they feel the same with her. Willow is the one she knows the best, and thus has a strong connection from first sight.
Who your character would like to meet: Angel and any of the Fang Gang, the Scoobies (of course!) Niks, David, Jesse, any demons or baddies for her to be nervous about
